I normally don’t feel 8-bit arrangements accurately reflect NES music, but this one really impresses me. Plus, it’s Daft Punk, so it’s hard to mess up the electronic feel.

“Video Games Live” 90 minute special to air on PBS July 31
A 90-minute Video Games Live special, consisting of never before televised live musical performances from the Mario, Zelda, Sonic, Halo, Warcraft, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, God of War, Civilization, Chrono Cross, StarCraft and Guitar Hero franchises, including a musical journey through Classic Gaming, will make its national premiere on July 31 and air throughout August 2010 on PBS stations (check local listings).
Yes, I love video game music enough to want to DVR this from England and wait 2+ weeks to watch it when I get home.
